The continued growth of Bryant requires
improvement in the overall quality of life for individuals and families. To accomplish this, the $23 million bond re-issue will provide $4 million in funding for parks and recreation improvements, including The Center at Bishop Park sports fields, and a new park north of I-30.
The continued growth of Bryant requires additional roadway infrastructure to relieve north-south congestion and improve motor vehicle and pedestrian access, connectivity, and safety. To accomplish this, the $23 million bond re-issue will provide $14 million in funding for the construction of a new, north-south roadway extending from the I-30 overpass adjacent to Echo Lake Boulevard to the north and Raymar Road to the south. The new roadway will connect Highway 5 to Highway 183, by building Bryant Parkway.
The continued growth of Bryant requires increasing city-wide public safety through effective first-responders. To accomplish this, the $23 million bond re-issue will provide $5 million in funding for two new fire stations, replacing Station #2 and Station #3.
